I realized that one thing I can increase my vocabulary easily and interestingly, is memorizing new words by creating sentence such as what happened to you before or what you want to say. Translating any article to my native language is not enough. It doesn't mean that's bad idea. If you try to express your idea in English, you will learn how to say your opinion as native speakers do. I find there is logical difference between English and my native language. Unless you can express it, you should find the way that how native speakers say it. Let me illustrate some of them.
- I don't like showing the palm of my hand to other people. Because a fortune teller told me there were people's all information in it. It's obviously that every one can't decipher it. However, you should keep it safely.
In the sentence above, there are two new words for me. One of my neighbours was a fortune teller. She said to me about that. When I talked to my classmates, I wanted to say about it. But I couldn't because of my poor vocabulary. Now I've found out it, so I can use it next time, it will not be forgotten easily. On top of that, an another way to increase your vocabulary is to get used to saying the actions you do everyday in English. For instance :
- I am used to putting the grated carrot or capsicum into rice as I cook it.
I don't exactly know whether the sentence above is correct or not. My writing is terrible indeed. But I am not concerned nevertheless.
