SOLVED: How to ".pages" extension in Windows

".pages" is, i think, the extension of word app of mac. Similar to ".doc" in windows. Interestingly, Microsoft word is unable to open file with ".pages" extension, but there are two methods to open this tricky file.

1. Just change the extension name from ".pages" to ".doc" by rename the file. But in my case, this method didn't work.
2. Open a file with ".pages" extension in icloud by uploading the file to icloud and open it online, and then save the file with the extension you want. Mostly, icloud offers you couple of choices of extension such as pdf, doc, xls, etc,. In my case, this method perfectly worked.

Greating a PDF file from multiple images

1. Open Photoshop.
2. Go to File->Automate->PDF Presentation. Here is a screenshot of the PDF Presentation menu:
3. Click Browse and select the pictures you want to use in your PDF Presentation.
4. An alternative to step 3 is to have the files already opened up in Photoshop and click on Add Open Files to indicate that you want to include those pictures. 
5. The PDF Presentation menu offers the possibility of choosing some of the picture information to be included in the pdf file. For example, the filename, the title, the picture's description and so on,  can be included by clicking on the appropriate checkbox in the Output Options pane. 
6. Click Save. Name your pdf file and choose a location on the hard drive where you would like the file to be saved. 
7. You're done!

Mosquito protection

Every summer as we are at summerhouse, we are attacked by disgusting mosquitoes. Here is an advice to get rid of them from the house.

--- A method of making 'mosquito trap' ---

You need :
- a cup of water
- brown sugar (1/4 cup)
- one gramme yeast
- a plastic bottle of 2 litre

1. To begin with, using a knife or a scissor, cut off the plastic bottle in half.
2. Next, put the brown sugar in hot water and stir until it absorbs. Then pour the mixture into the plastic bottle.
3. After that, add the yeast. Don't stir ! So that carbon dioxide forms thereby it attracts mosquitoes.
4. Following step is by turning the plastic bottle clipping upside down, put it on other clipping with the mixture as a funnel, then apply sticky tape on it if you want.
5. Leave that bottle its top open and wrap with something black then keep it away from where you are most at home.

You change the mixture once two weeks. Either brown sugar or white can be fine. In addition to not only once two weeks but once a week, the mixture can be changed.

Treatment : how to treat canker sore

I easily get canker sores, also known as mouth ulcers. This is white painful marks in the mouth. Recently I have found some home remedies for canker sores from internet. If you have a same problem as me, I would recommend you methods below.

First method is USE A SALT OR BAKING SODA RINSE. Mix a few pinch of salt or baking soda in a glass of warm water. Swish around inside your mouth and spit out, repeating two or three times a day.

1. Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. 

2. Find the windows update and click mouse 2 on it. 

3. Click the Stop and Properties. 

4. In "General tab", Find the "start up type" and then choose "Disabled".

5. Finally click apply and ok.
