I read two books mentioned above by January 20, 2018. As my new plan for 2018, I have to finish 2 books every month, one Mongolian and one English if I can.
Book "Mongolian King" has 15 series books, which starts from hun's era to the last king of Mongolian empire. I chose this series book because I believed it would give me good knowledge of Mongolian history. Every time I read this kind of history book, I blame my younger self for not reading it at early age. Knowing your ancestor's history is particularly essential to man as it's one of common subjects. Little by little, I feel confident when talking about history. By this time of next year, I will have finished this 15 series book and have gotten known a lot more than I do.
The other book called History of Mongolia 1 by Baabar, is also about the history of Mongolia, from 13th century until 20th century. It's quite same as book "Mongolian King", but the writer is one of the persons whom I admire the most. He has well knowledge in any subject, and all the books written by him become bestseller. Why I enjoy his writing is that he takes Mongolian history from different point of view, in other words, in more realistic way. Some Mongolian historians always appraise ancestors and often write good things of them that seems sometimes inappropriate to me.
