Start up nation - the story of Israel's economic miracle

After my father got retired from work where he had worked for very long time, he started collecting books. One of the things my dad likes to do with his monthly pension is to buy book for home. Now we have got shelves full of interesting books, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, I am not a really book lover. To change who I used to be and become better version of me, I started a reading book from my home library. In this post, I would like to write a book I have just finished reading. The book is called start up nation. It tries to reveal the secret of Israel's economic miracle. Until now, I didn't know the country Israel is officially founded in 1948. I used to picture as a country where fight and war happen all the time, and it is very poor and miserable country. The book totally changed my thinking of Israel. In last few decades, this country is ranked at one of fast developing country with the help of its innovation. The secret behind those many innovation in this country, in the author's opinion, is all citizens joining military service. Due to constant threatens from neighbouring countries who do not admit Israel's independence, military service in the country is mandatory where people from all walks of life team up together, then make friends. Furthermore, they exchange their ideas and find their ideal business partners. Most importantly, in military service people learn how to work in team and lead the team. Plus, some highly intelligent soldiers specialise in some subjects, such as chemistry, technology, mathematic, etc,. After the army, experienced people easily find a job and do their own business.
