Describe a museum that you have visited

1. Where it is
2. Why you went there
3. What you particularly remember

I have been to a museum once in my life that was in Mongolia. Back home, we have just couple of museum, can be counted on the fingers of one hand. All of them is located in the capital city, close to each other.

Back then, I was in high school. As I remember, it was ninth grade. I had four very good friends from my class. We would often do things all together. One day, a friend of mine referred to a huge dinosaur skeleton in the natural history museum. That interested us enormously, and so we all decided to see it.

The vivid memory of that trip is that we took a camera with us to the museum, even though taking picture was strictly prohibited there. Fortunately, the museum was almost empty, just some cleaners were doing their work. However we had to be very careful. Two of us left behind as whistle-blower. If someone had come or they had seen someone coming, they would have informed us. After having taken enough pictures with exhibits, we left the museum with full of satisfaction. Back then, digital camera had not come up yet. People went to a special place for getting their film developed. One of us was responsible for this process. But after couple of days passed, that friend who took the film with him said very disappointedly that he forgot the film in a pocket of his pants, and put it in the washing machine. We were all half way between laughing and crying.
