It's much easier to change your self than others

I'm not a sociable person. Though being serious in most of time, as I am with my closest friends I can be very very chatty, humorous (I hope I have a bit of sense of humour). Generally, during a joke, I say that I am very intelligent or clever. Because those who know me well, understand me being foolish and joking, whereas those who don't get my joke, find me being an arrogant. After all, I end up as being a narcissistic. My conclusion is this kind of joke doesn't fit everyone. I might have to alter the way of joking. DO NOT make a joke which can be understood wrongly, for instance, he is very clever just like me, etc. Some understand and some don't.
