I love listening to music. So it's obvious that I like musical instruments, particularly traditional instruments. For example, piano, of course everyone would say this one, it's considered the king of instruments. As I mentioned earlier, I am also passionate about traditional instruments. One of them is "morin khuur", English name is "horse-head fiddle". It's like a big violin, around one metre long, and Its top is simulated horse head. And its bow is made from horse tail. So it is called "horse-head fiddle". Despite having just two lines, It makes incredible sound.
I am a patriotic person. Before I explain why I have got into this instrument, I need to mention about my childhood and why I prefer traditional things. Back home, most children go to a kindergarten before they are enrolled at an elementary school. But my childhood was a bit different from others. Because my brother and I were brought up by my granddad, my father's father. So neither my brother nor I went to a kindergarten. We had a free babysitter. As we stayed at home with granddad, we spent entire day watching movies and TV programmes during entire day. At that moment, back home there wasn't as many TV channel as we watch now. Most TV programmes were about our ancient times. Many old movies and few cartoon for children. It might have influenced on my behaviour. If I had been in a kindergarten just like other children, I would now like an another instruments. But I don't mean it's bad.
What's more, I bear a resemblance to my mother, we both are calm people. We don't like being in noisy places, but like being in cosy places. Everyone says our behaviours are very similar. even appearance. like two peas in a pod. If I had taken after my father, I would be a different passionate about music.
